About the Digital Advocacy Internship:

The intern will work closely with the WJC Digital Advocacy Unit. He or she will assist in managing various WJC campaigns by collecting data, performing outreach, and creating social media content including articles, info-graphics, and videos.

This internship opportunity is best fitted to those individuals looking to learn about Jewish communities worldwide, to improve their drafting and research skills, and to gain professional experience working with social media campaigns at one of the leading Jewish organizations in the world.


• The position is open to students and graduates studying international relations, politics, communications, or related subjects.

• The successful applicant will have a strong commitment to human rights/international issues as well as a commitment and understanding of Jewish diaspora interests.

• Strong oral and written communication skills in English are required. Knowledge of another UN official language is an asset.

• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills, independent thinking and initiative are essential.

Terms & Conditions:

 • The internship position is unpaid. Students should check with their academic institution if they are able to gain academic credit for their internship with the World Jewish Congress. 

• Interns are asked to commit for a minimum period of 2 months on a full-time or part-time basis. 

• Starting date: June 1, 2019
