February 2019 - Recap of Antisemitic Incidents

The month of February saw a string of antisemitism across the globe.

These are just a few of the many incidents in the past month: In Strasbourg, France over 80 graves were desecrated and a Holocaust memorial was vandalized. At Cornell University, three Swastikas were found in a span of nine days across campus. In Belgium, a man is now under investigation for decorating his entire house in Nazi memorabilia. In Kiev, Ukraine hackers broadcast a Nazi flag on an electronic display at a mall ahead of a far-right march. In Brooklyn, a Jewish center was vandalized in an antisemitic attack. In Spain, Nazi symbols and other antisemitic graffiti were found on the home of a Jewish Activist. In Greece, the phrase “Jews are whores” was found scribbled on a school.
