Jerusalem Day Rallies in Iran this Week Filled with Hate Towards Israel and America

Jerusalem Day rallies in Iran took place this Friday, with the burning of Israeli and American flags, hateful speech and the waving of the Hezbollah flag. This march is one of many Al Quds marches happening this weekend.

This week Al Quds day marches were held in 950 cities and towns throughout Iran. Tens of thousands of people attended the march to express their opposition to Israel and show their support for the Palestinians. Attendees included Senior Iranian officials President Rowhani and Foreign Minister Mohammad Jawad Zarif.

At Friday’s march, hateful shouts were cheered such as, “Death to America” and “Jerusalem is the eternal capital of Palestine.” Military officials and marchers walked on and burned the American, Israeli and British flags with honor. Terrorist organization Hezbollah’s flag can also be seen waved around the rally with pride.

This is one of many Al Quds day marches taking place around the world this weekend. Marches are taking place in London, Berlin and many other major cities. Marches in other cities look very similar to the one that took place this week in Iran. This type of hate and slanderous speech is shouted at Al Quds day marches around the globe, regardless of geography.

This march is an annual event filled with open demonstrations of animosity towards America and Israel. The malicious activity and spreading of anti-Israel sentiment that goes on at the Al Quds day march is just a small part of the growing anti-Semitism in Europe. Iran’s Al Quds day march can be used to exemplify the other marches that are set to take place in the coming days.
