Libels against Jews are rearing their ugly heads in Europe once again, this time hundreds of years after the middle ages and during anti-Israeli BDS protests on December 18th 2018.

At a recent Boycott, Divest and Sanction (BDS) rally in the Netherlands, “activist” Findi Fares exclaimed, “The Jews are the enemy of all people,” and that (to a Jewish Counter Protestor) “You hung Jesus on the cross, his blood is on you and your children.” Perpetuating the age-old myth that the Jews murdered Jesus, this time speaking this vile hatred in the name of activism and as a weapon against Israeli legitimacy.

Few batted an eye at this hate speech, mostly because it was during an anti-Israeli protest, a veil for anti-Semitism. Findi Fares spoke alongside and was encouraged by BDS protestors like Simon Vrouwe in front of the Palestinian flag. The Center for Information and Documentation on Israel, or CIDI called for an end to this hate speech.
