According to a survey published by the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress, there is a significant gap between the estimated instances of antisemitism in small towns and big cities. Jews in small towns feel much less safe than they would in large cities.

A recent study revealed that there were 1,879 recorded antisemitic incidents in the United States in 2018.

Antisemitic incidents in Belgium have nearly doubled since last year.

The Netherlands in 2018 saw a 19 percent increase in recorded anti-Semitic incidents in 2018 to a record 230 cases. In 2018, there was a 74% rise in antisemitism in France. This is alarming and unacceptable. Last week, the WJC report released a detailed report exposing on social media the antisemitic nature of the ultra-nationalist promoters and participants of the Lukov March in Bulgaria. Every February a torch-lit demonstration draws neo-Nazis from across Europe to Bulgaria’s capital Sofia in honor of General Hristo Lukov. General Hristo Lukov, a Nazi collaborator helped send 11,300 Jews to their deaths in the Nazi death camp of Treblinka. Read more: http://bit.ly/2GdBJUA

Nearly half of 557 respondents in a survey of Dutch Jews said they were afraid of identifying publicly as Jewish. The Boycott, Divest and Sanctions campaign against Israel has been categorized as anti-Semitic by the Berlin State Office for the Protection of the Constitution, an institution which monitors anti-democratic activities across the political spectrum in Berlin.
